Gauri Kuber is a voiceover artist, with a Master's in Biotechnology and more than 7 years of work experience in a vast variety of fields like education, healthcare, and market research. Coming from a conventional educational field, she is well-versed with terminologies used in the fields Biology and Medical Science.

 

Gauri is presently working as a part-time Radio Jockey with ‘Radio Udaan’, a community-based internet radio, as a co-anchor of India’s one and only radio news show for the disabled – Community Colors. She is responsible for translating, narrating and editing the detailed news bulletin. She also creates promos for different shows on the channel. 

Her role as an radio jockey helped her to clear her Hindi diction and pronunciation. It also enhanced her translation skills, time management, and increased her sensitivity towards the world of disability.  She is also the co-host of the ‘Antakshari’ Show on Radio Udaan. This opportunity honed her skills in using her voice and energy to connect with the audience directly and handle situations while live on the shows.

 

Gauri’s ongoing project as a news anchor for Sakal’s Daily News Podcasts with Ideabrews Studios has enhanced her Marathi diction and pronunciation, and has helped her to make improvements with regard to stress on words, pauses, and pitch. She was amongst the selected students felicitated at the hands of renowned actor, Mr. Vikram Gokhale, for excelling in the voice over and dubbing course. 

 

Gauri published a Hindi podcast series of 7 episodes on Prithviraj Chauhan with Audiowallah.com in June 2021. Her portfolio also includes a Story-telling stint with Kilbil Group of Stories, where she narrated a Hindi story, a Marathi story, and a Marathi rhyme daily – a project that she holds very close to her heart.
